Self-mockingly written by a team of writers, this film never takes itself seriously. The credits include uber-writer Stephen J Legion HD. Cannell (The original "A-Team" TV series, "The Rockford Files," "21 Jump Street") who is a producer of this movie (along with Hollywood powerhouses Tony and Ridley Scott) Legion HD. The plot is pretty standard, a top-notch group of Army commandos is framed for murder and theft during the Iraq War. A shady CIA character offers to spring them from prison and give them a chance to recover stolen counterfeit equipment and to clear their names. This leads to a series of capers where each of the A-Team members escapes from prison (including use of a 3D movie as a diversion) Legion HD. Then, they devise yet another caper to recover the stolen printing plates in Europe, then they have to escape the bad guys who are behind this whole scheme. There are lots of double crosses and double crossers Legion HD. The actors have all nice chemistry, and everyone feels comfortable - and, thereby, believable - in their cinematic skins Legion HD. While Neeson is a little wooden and lacks some of the flair of George Peppard, everyone else actually improves on the small-screen incarnations of their characters Legion HD. Cooper and Copley are standouts, and Jackson brings a touch of sensitivity and gentility to the iconic bruiser he plays. Wilson is great as an is-he-a-good-guy-or-bad-guy Fed, and former soap star Brian Bloom (who also co-wrote the screenplay) makes for a terrifically cartoonish, thuggy villain. Jessica Biel is relegated to the role of Hot Woman in Pursuit, but it works in this context - she doesn't have to do a lot of acting, just a lot of shooting and scowling Legion HD. "Overkill is underrated," snaps Col Legion HD. Hannibal Smith, cigar-savoring leader of a crack and quirky foursome, as he formulates the plan for an elaborate attack Legion HD. The phrase nicely sums up Hannibal's warrior mentality and the film he utters it in -- the thoroughly entertaining, devil-may-care escapism called "The A-Team." Leader Barney (Stallone) regards friends and enemies alike with a sad gaze (beneath strangely distracting eyebrows) Legion HD. Knife whiz Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) is man enough not to hide his hurt over a busted relationship, while combat expert Ying Yang (Jet Li) is angling for a raise Legion HD.
