It opens with an adventure sequence that is as thrilling as it is vibrant, the result of a young child's imagination at full power, with his toys - Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), and the rest of the gang - the main players in a battle between good and evil, complete with monkey nukes and flying pigs Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. Now I only recently started to watch the animated series Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. I never watched it when it was on Nickelodeon originally. I only watched the show because I knew this was going to be Shyamalan's next movie and I wanted find out a little bit more about it before going into the movie. I thought this whole thing was going to be little too "kiddie" for me Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. I was pleasantly surprised Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. The series is a whole lot of fun and it's really sucked me in. Everything is there to craft a good live action movie out of it and yet Shyamalan misses the boat on just about every point Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. To it's credit, as I said above, the cast certainly looks good in their parts. The production design is pretty impressive and overall the visual effects are very nice. James Newton Howard provides a pretty stirring score. All nice parts, but the man in charge just can't bring them all together Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. As the credits roll, the first thing you see is "Written, Produced and Directed By M Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. Night Shyamalan" and so there's only one person to blame for the whole thing and that's really unfortunate Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. I really did want him to succeed with this and get back on the right track Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. The film never reaches the same emotional levels as the original and never quite got around to be anything special, just another disposable blockbuster action pic that kills time for those who yearn for lightweight escapist films like homesick Russians yearn for parrots. In sum, a perfectly average summer action movie Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man. You needn't pity the fool who goes to see it, but he's not in for anything special. Like the man said: it's Shakespeare, baby! Mickey Rourke, playing a semiretired expendable named Tool who runs a tattoo parlor and smokes a long-stemmed pipe, delivers some heavy soliloquies on the nature of the soul and the love of a good woman, though there don't seem to be many of those around Movie Daredevil vs. Spider-Man.
